The environmental trouble and mine

One thing that has been on my mind for a few days and about which I have been hearing too much , but doing too little(i don't know what I can really do) is the environmental tragedy of the gulf of Mexico oil spill. I am always very concerned about the depletion of these energy associated natural resources on the planet , and it pains somewhere in my body to always having to accept that soon we will be left with nothing else except empty oil and natural gas wells and polluted air and water with memoirs of our reckless and enormous use of these resources in a rush to industrialise and modernise.When on the road, I observe long queues of cars at the gas stations , waiting to get their motor babies filled up and up and running again just to come back here after 2 days once again to get them filled with the ever-soaring price of petrol, i get exasperated and at the same time feel helpless -about what i do not know

Everything is so related-- global warming, depletion of resources , over population , water crisis .

There is no way anybody can ever write enough about them.

And to top it all, the already priceless fuel continues to leak out miles below the sea in Mexico every second and minute of the day depriving us of billions of gallons of crude oil already which could have powered the world with atleast some more days of motor breath(i like to call it that because it has of late become as vital as breath ).

We cannot afford this loss --it is too big a price to pay for carelessness or lack of maintenance on part of the BP technical team-whose brunt will be borne by the population of the entire world indirectly.

As the oil washes onto the Mexican shores spreading far and wide on the ocean surface , even the most sincere clean up operations from the American side are turning to be futile because they cannot match the sheer magnitude of the catastrophe.

But there is a ray of hope -which I am clinging on to which is that if we are able to skim off the oil from the surface of the sea water by utilising the property of oil being lighter than water, all the lost oil can be retrieved and we can be happy again. ...hope my simplest way out comes out to be true and effective.

I want to shun laziness and procrastination, and so i will write ..write about anything and everything..like an open book of secrets. I am getting a very glacial speed success at solving crosswords, plus there is nothing on my plate right now, which makes me become a fountain of overflowing emotion which pours everything in my body itself , filling it all the more with the same stuff. Had a delicious meal today which made up for a lost day partially. With the coming of the weekend comes a burden to make it special , which makes it still worse because you end up making your life more miserable.So the best thing is to blog....such a pessimist i am ,eh ?

And so we Indians finally have a symbol for our currency...guess the UPA government got this one right atleast...and all the more befitting that it comes from an IITian ..we do represent india the best in international fora..so there's something to take pride in from this. If i think of it , the symbol created for the INR looks too simple at first glance, and i often find myself wondering why i could not think of it too. But anyway , one of my distant bros did it, so that too is satisfying.
